17. My mates will have to have tex2 on their phones as well. How do I get them to download?
    
    
1. You're right. Mates will need to have tex2 on their phones before they can receive your tex2s or reply to them. But it's easy to sort. Either tell them to visit www.tex2me.com and click the download button, or send them a personalised invite from your phone. Here's how:
   
   - Fire up tex2, select 'options' and look for 'invite a friend'. Type in your mates' mobile phone number. If it's an international number make sure it starts with the country code --- e.g 33 for France.
   - When you click download, we send a set of instructions to your mobile as an ordinary SMS message. When you invite a mate, we send the same set of instructions along with a note of who has invited them to join.
   
   
17. I've received an invite to download tex2 but now I can't find it.
    
    
1. Some phones put the special message we send into your normal text (SMS) inbox. Others models put it somewhere else. Maybe in something called a 'Service Inbox', or in folder called 'Browser Messages'. If all else fails, look out your instruction book. But persevere. You'll find it somewhere. And once you've found it, just follow the instructions, clicking 'accept' when you're asked.

   If you don't think you have received the invite message, try again. If nothing arrives, don't worry. Sometimes phones are set not to accept WAP push messages. Instead use your phone's browser to go to the following URL:

17. I'm having problems getting started with tex2. Where can I find the answers?

17. I've downloaded tex2. But I can't find it. Why?
    
    
1. tex2 is something called a Java Application, like many games. Some phones put this in the Games sub-menu. Others will have dedicated areas: Nokia "Collection", Sony "Applications" etc. Hunt around, you will find tex2 seomwhere!

   If you are anything like us, you will soon find you are using tex2 a lot (and saving a fortune!). So it is worth finding out how to put a shortcut that gives an easy way of firing up the application. See your phone manual for details of how to do this.
   
   

17. How many people can I send a personal invitation to?
    
    
1. We give you 10 free invites to start with. If these are all taken up by your friends, contact us and we will give you some more.
   
   
17. Does tex2 works on all networks?
    
    
1. In the UK we have tested tex2 on Vodafone, Virgin, T-Mobile, O2 and Orange, on both Pay as you Go and contract.

   3 has its own ways of doing things, and does not allow its users to use services like tex2 or access any content they don't provide. Nice of them.
   
   

17. How do I know I've received a tex2?
    
    
1. When someone sends you a tex2, you'll get a 'missed call' notification from a number beginning 01986. Save number and call it something like 'New tex2 waiting'. You can even give it a different ring tone.
